Greetings fans of our feathered friends! SELT is sponsoring Introduction to Bird Identification, Ecology and Habitats, a 12-week online and field course (April 1 – June 24).

Through a combination of weekly online lessons (completed on your own schedule) and optional field trips, you will learn the most effective tips for identifying over 50 species of birds by sight and sound.

You will learn about the ecology and habitat requirements of these birds and what you can do to attract & benefit birds on your land. This course is appropriate for beginner birders and experienced birders who want to improve their birding skills and learn more about bird ecology and habitats.
