Forest Fridays (for kids!)

Meet us at Mast Road Natural Area for a bi-weekly kid-led nature exploration as part of our Forest Friday series. This series will be led by Nature-Based Educators Kim Cote and Lizzy Franceschini and will offer supervised kid-led exploration and unstructured outdoor play for kids aged 0-5 and their guardians.  This series will take place rain or shine – be sure to dress appropriately for the weather, you’ll want to be comfortable being still. Forest Fridays to be held: April 1^st, April 15^th, May 13^th, May 27^th (NO meeting on April 29^th)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• The series is rated as easy and is geared towards children aged 0-5 and their guardians!

• This series will take place rain or shine – be sure to dress appropriately for the weather, you’ll want to be comfortable being still
• Sturdy closed toed shoes are required
• Please bring plenty of water and any snacks you might need – please no sharing due to COVID-19
• This trail is jogging stroller friendly
• Insect repellent is recommended
• Bring your binoculars if you have them – you never know what you might want to look at!
• Feel free to bring lunch for a post walk picnic with the group
• No dogs, please
