The goal for The Mathey Center for People and Nature is make it a Net Zero Energy building. One important step is to ensure that the construction is tight as a drum to keep heat and cold from escaping and/or entering.
Last summer, the folks from Resilient Buildings Group came to the construction site to run a test to see if there were any places for air to sneak out and where areas needed to be sealed. Here’s how they ran the test. (Hint: we were a big fan of it.)
