On April 25, SELT completed a conservation easement on the Kaifer property in Hampton. This special land consists of 21 acres of forest, prime wetland, and pollinator-rich open fields.
Marielle and Angel Kaifer are passionate about wildlife and ecology and began the conservation process in 2023 with the goal to donate the easement and provide the needed funds to complete the project – and now The Ronald and Nancy Bottom Forest (named for the previous owners) – is protected for all time.
