Coastal Critters with Seacoast Science Center
August 2, 2023 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
What animals and seaweeds can you find in New Hampshire tide pools and coastal zones? Meet these animals up close and learn about the interesting and sometimes strange adaptations (suction cups, claws, tentacles) they use to capture their prey, move, or defend themselves.
Seacoast Science Center will be bringing this program to SELT’s Mathey Center for People and Nature.
This program is part of SELT’s Coastal Connections Series, which will culminate with a SELT Art Exhibition of “Buried in Trash: Plastic is Poison for Our Planet” by Bob Thoresen in September.
