Join SELT’s Chad Fierros, Forest and Wildlife Habitat Manager for a Habitat Field Trip in Birch Ridge Community Forest (BRCF).  Chad and other event facilitators will discuss specific wildlife habitat management activities taken on BRCF so far and why.  We will visit two areas where Early Successional Habitat work was completed (one completed this spring and one in 2023) and we will spend some time at the shore of the beaver pond that is the hub of the BRCF wildlife focus area.

Space is very limited for this event and carpooling is encouraged.

• Difficulty: Moderate to Strenuous (The trip will involve off-trail travel in uneven terrain with significant brush and debris)
