The new trail connecting SELT’s Stonehouse Pond parking area with the “swimming boulder” is in process! Work is ongoing to create the trail, with an anticipated completion date at the end of June.
Please help us maintain this popular property by keeping to the trail, while allowing our flyfishing friends their respective path to the New Hampshire Fish and Game designated fishing area. In addition, to keep emergency access open and for the safety of visitors, please respect the no parking signs the State of NH has placed alongside Stonehouse Pond Road (the access road to the flyfishing area of the pond).
Understanding the need for additional parking, SELT had created an additional parking area closer to Route 202, which will also be open during the winter months.
Stay tuned for signs and updated trail materials coming soon. Special thanks to the donors who contributed to make this project a reality.
