Tri-City Subaru “Shares the Love” at Clyde Farm

The warm weather on May 18 was an aberration for the type of spring New Hampshire had been met with in 2025, largely characterized by driving rain and 40-degree weather. But the clouds parted in time for a group of volunteers from Tri-City Subaru in Somersworth to give of their time and talents to support a local farm.

Clyde Farm is a small family farm located in Farmington, NH. Farmers Jimi Tutor and Kristen Klenow operate the farm, where they raise chickens, pigs, and cattle and grow flowers and vegetables. SELT conserved this farmland in 2021, allowing Jimi and Kristen to purchase the land and kick off their lifelong dream of owning a farm.

Of course a little bit of extra help goes a long way! That’s where the volunteers from Tri-City Subaru in Somersworth came in. For their annual “Share the Love” volunteer day, staff and their families took to the farm for a full morning of planting and composting. Before they got their hands dirty, the Tri-City team accompanied Jimi and Kristen on a tour of the workings of their farm (much to the delight of the kids who got to see the animals up close and personal.)

While there, the Tri-City crew handed over a check for $6,000 to SELT, the proceeds of the annual “Share the Love” campaign, which contributes a portion of car sales to community organizations.

“We are so grateful for the generosity of Tri-City Subaru and their staff,” said Zoe Graves, SELT’s Outreach and Education Director. “Not only will their fundraising strengthen SELT’s mission of protecting the lands we love, but their work at Clyde Farm shows the importance of volunteerism, a core pillar of our mission.”
