Join the Blue Ocean Society for an interactive presentation on marine debris and the importance of keeping our beaches clean. The Blue Ocean Society is a non-profit organization that protects marine life in the Gulf of Maine through research, education and inspiring action.

This program is part of SELT’s Coastal Connections Series, which will culminate with a SELT Art Exhibition of “Buried in Trash: Plastic is Poison for Our Planet” by Bob Thoresen in September. Participants in the Marine Debris program will also be able to view the art exhibit while at The Mathey Center.
