DESCRIPTION:Thank you for your interest in this SELT event. Unfortunately\, this program and waitlist are at capacity. \nJoin author Marianne O’Connor in what’s sure to be a spooky evening of ghost stories on and around the trails of New Hampshire. \nIs there a Sasquatch in the Ossipee Mountains? Are there spirits on Mount Washington? Marianne will highlight some of the more interesting and unusual ghost stories from the state including the ghost story of Nancy Mountain in Crawford Notch to the Old Witch of East Hampton. The program is an hour-long PowerPoint presentation with spooky sound effects and ghostly illusions that is sure to put you in a seasonal mood. \n“Haunted Hikes of New Hampshire” won the 2023 Halloween Book Festival Award in nonfiction. \nThis program is not recommended for young children. \nMarianne O’Connor is the author of Haunted Hikes of New Hampshire; she’s hiked all over New Hampshire to collect “haunted hikes” on her adventures. Marianne is a content producer for New “Hampshire Magazine” and “Memories of Maine Magazine” and has appeared on WMUR New Hampshire Chronicle\, and NHTV’s “Windows to the Wild”.
