DESCRIPTION:Meet us at Birch Ridge Community Forest for a spooky kid-led nature exploration as part of our Forest Friday series. Participants are encouraged to wear a Halloween costume for this Forest Friday\, but it is not required. This series will be led by nature-based educators Sara DeSerres & Karly Wilcox from Four Winds Nature Institute.  We will offer supervised kid-led adventure and unstructured outdoor play for kids aged 0-5 and their guardians. This series will take place rain or shine – be sure to dress appropriately for the weather\, you’ll want to be comfortable being still or muddy. DESCRIPTION:Join and for a fun and unique experience making pottery at SELT. We’re excited to welcome back Kim Hanson\, owner of The Dover Pottery Studio to SELT where she will lead a 2-hour pottery making session. \nIn this hands-on session\, you’ll create your very own unique Festive Evergreen Tree (see images below) using a variety of hand-building and clay construction techniques. This session is designed for all skill levels. After the session\, the Dover Pottery Studio staff will glaze and fire your creations\, making them ready for pick-up approximately four weeks after the workshop. \nThe event is limited to 20.
