SUMMARY:Birch Ridge Community Forest Wildlife Habitat Management Field Trip *WAITLIST*
DESCRIPTION:This program is at capacity. Please join the waitlist and we’ll be in touch if space becomes available. \nJoin SELT’s Chad Fierros\, Forest and Wildlife Habitat Manager for a Habitat Field Trip in Birch Ridge Community Forest (BRCF).  Chad and other event facilitators will discuss specific wildlife habitat management activities taken on BRCF so far and why.  We will visit two areas where Early Successional Habitat work was completed (one completed this spring and one in 2023) and we will spend some time at the shore of the beaver pond that is the hub of the BRCF wildlife focus area. \nSpace is very limited for this event and carpooling is encouraged. \n\nDifficulty: Moderate to Strenuous (The trip will involve off-trail travel in uneven terrain with significant brush and debris)\nDonate to support SELT’s Outreach Program now: CLICK HERE\nRegistration required: www.tinyurl.com/seltoutreach
