Charitable Distribution
SELT donors who are 70.5 or older are eligible to make tax-free donations from their IRAs, regardless of whether they itemize deductions on their tax returns.
Gift through a
Donor-Advised Fund
Contributions of cash, securities or other assets to a donor-advised fund are generally eligible for an immediate tax deduction.
Donate Stocks and Securities
Many donors prefer to make gifts of appreciated stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or exchange traded funds to support SELT’s work. We have an intuitive, easy-to-use tool that will guide you through the process in less than 10 minutes!
Establish a Planned Gift
Join the Conservation Legacy Society with your planned gift or bequest. Other gifts, including appreciated securities and IRA distributions are welcome.

If you would like to give of your time, SELT relies on the passion and expertise of our volunteers to make our mission hum! Whether its service on a committee, office and admin support, or getting outside and working on trails and leading field trips, our volunteer opportunities are vast. diverse, and always rewarding!

SELT is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. All contributions, including membership dues, are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. Donors receive a membership to SELT, which is renewable each year.
