Facelift for Stonehouse Pond
On May 11th more than 50 employees of Timberland joined SELT’s Land Manager Phil Auger and SELT volunteer stewards for a day of trail work at Stonehouse Pond in Barrington. By far SELT’s most popular reservation, Stonehouse Pond is visited by hundreds each week, and the trail system shows the wear and tear. Timberland employees spent the day building three new bridges, closing unauthorized trails, and initiating the relocation of several trail segments. Keep on the look out for additional changes as we work to improve the visitor experience while conserving this land’s important resources. Thank you Timberland!
